Getting started
This guide covers the shortest path from creating your account to having a volunteer book online. For organization-specific articles, see Resources as well.
Create your account and Pro trial
Sign up free with your organization name, email, and password. Registration includes 30 days of Pro with no credit card so you can try coordinators, export, multi-day booking, and more than one location.
After sign-up you land on the dashboard with a first-steps checklist. If you do not upgrade when the trial ends, your account moves to free Lite: one location, unlimited volunteers, and a bilingual portal.
Basic settings
Open Organization → Settings. Upload your logo, add a contact phone or email shown on the portal, and review the included bilingual waiver. Customize it only if legal counsel requires it.
Copy the public portal link from the dashboard or Portal QR. The URL is stable — it does not change when you edit the organization name.
First location and schedule day
Go to Organization → Locations and create your first site (for example “Main campus”). Then open Operations → Schedule, pick the location, and click a calendar day to create the shift: date, hours, and maximum volunteers.
Make sure the day stays active. If it is off, volunteers will not see it even when the date is correct. On Lite, the public schedule can show up to 90 days ahead.
Share and verify
Share the link on WhatsApp, email, or print the QR code at the entrance. Ask someone you trust to make a test booking with their phone.
Under Operations → Bookings you will see the sign-up. Under Coverage you see how many people are still needed by hour. If something does not appear on the portal, confirm the day is active, the date is today or later, and the location is on.
Quick question in the panel? Open Help → Quick answer search (or press Cmd+K / Ctrl+K). Type a word like “bookings” or “QR” for an explanation tailored to your role and plan.
